The Bergen County Utilities Authority offers a household hazardous waste collections program for all other hard to dispose of materials and waste free to Bergen County residents.  Call the BCUA environmental program hotline at 201-807-5825 or you can visit them online at BCUA.org for collection dates, drop off locations and accepted materials.
